Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Colorado is hiring a Warehouse Worker on the 2nd shift to count and package finished goods, load trailers, and keep a clean, safe production area.

You will follow SOPs, log daily activities, and coordinate with other shifts while maintaining quality with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices. Candidates must be able to read/write English or Spanish and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English or Spanish.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends.
• Able to work in a loud manufacturing environment.
• Experience with loading trailers and forklift operations.

Responsibilities

• Counts finished product cases from production.
• Packages finished product for shipping.
• Stages finished product for loading.
• Loads finished product onto truck.
• Unloads raw materials from truck.
• Receives inbound raw materials.
• Moves raw materials to warehouse storage.
• Responsible for quality control; no damaged product is sent out.
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Completes daily logs.
• Communicates with operators from other shifts.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use.
• Understands SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices for safety and quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

What You'll Do Every Day

• Properly counts finished product cases from production.
• Packages finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stages finished product for loading.
• Loads finished product onto truck.
• Unloads raw materials from truck.
• Receives inbound raw materials.
• Moves raw materials to warehouse storage.
• Responsible for quality control; no damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Completes daily logs.
• Communicates with operators from other shifts.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use.
• Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

What We're Looking For

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
• Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Able to stay focused in a loud working environment.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.
• Demonstrates experience with loading trailers.
• Must pass Forklift training and receive certification.
• Demonstrates safe forklift and electric walking pallet jack operations.
