Job Description

Green Rabbit (Recently acquired by Performance Food Group and operating under their Vistar segment) is looking for a 1st shift warehouse associate to work in our Bulk Production Area.

Starting Rate: $16.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 7am - 5:30pm

Position Purpose:

Position Summary:

The Bulk/Flex Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the order fulfillment process by efficiently assembling product boxes in a designated workstation. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow a standardized packing process. No warehouse system navigation or equipment operation is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble product boxes by:
    • Inserting the correct product items
    • Adding required coolant/ice packs
    • Sealing and taping boxes for shipment
  • Work at a fixed station throughout the shift-no movement across warehouse zones
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packing and safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Meet daily productivity and quality targets
  • Collaborate with leads and supervisors to resolve any packing issues

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience

Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position

Ability to see, speak, hear, write, and understand the English language.

Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift

Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift

Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience 6+ months of experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack

Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
