We are looking for a1stShiftWarehouse Workerfor a full time, onsite contract opportunity. The 1st shift is 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday.
This position will befull-timeandon-site in Fairview, North Carolina.
This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
What You’ll Do
Assess material needs and develops forecasts for assigned production area at the beginning of the shift and orders materials to support the production schedule
Transport materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods and/or scrap, to/from production floor
Complete required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as intercompany bills- of-lading
Prepare outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, scanning, labeling, wrapping
Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items
Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift or pallet jack
Post weights and shipping charges
What You'll Need
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Safety shoes
Preferred:
Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time
Must be able to operate machinery
Must be able to move between work zones
Must be proficient and able to understand written instructions in English language
The pay range for this position is $17.61 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
