Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Wenona, IL is seeking a Warehouse Packer for a food manufacturing client. The role involves packing finished products, maintaining cleanliness, and following GMP/HACCP guidelines. Shifts include 1st 6:00am-2:30pm and 2nd 2:00pm-10:00pm, with weekly pay and the prospect of long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Must have sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of finished goods for correct packaging.
• Good organization skills.
• Must be a team player, flexible, and adaptable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand and/or walk 90% of the time scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Receive the finished product from Over Operations or Fugi Machine Operators.
• Count, inspect, and pack the correct number of finished products into trays or conveyor slots for shipping.
• Rotate positions with other packing staff as directed.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with sanitation as directed.
• Follow GMPs and HACCP program.
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Our client, a top food manufacturing, is seeking Warehouse Packers to join their team. As a Warehouse Packer, you will be part of the distribution team. The ideal candidate will have great attendance, strong communication skills and a great attitudewhich will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Packer

Location: Wenona, IL

Pay Range: $16.95/hr. - $17.70/hr.
Shifts: 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm and 2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm

What’s the Job?

• Receive the finished product from Over Operations or Fugi Machine Operators
• Count, inspect, and straighten as necessary and pack the correct number of finished products into the approved trays or conveyor slots to be inserted into the proper carton for shipping
• Rotate positions with other packing staff as directed
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with sanitation with any miscellaneous cleaning as directed
• Follow GMPs and the HACCP program
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management Personnel
