Job description

I have a need for one temporary employee to assist in our Warehouse, while we have an employee out for the next few weeks. The anticipated duration could be up to several weeks. Since this assignment involves working in a warehouse, the person needs to have the ability to lift, bend, and squat while holding lbs.

List of tasks :

1. SURPLUS - Property transfer form audit and logging, surplus receiving, surplus logging and tracking, identifying surplus and values, segregating surplus in like groups, delivering and pick up of surplus off property, repalletizing and disposition management of surplus property.
2. STORES - Maintaining current inventory, receiving inventory, performing daily inventory audits, inventory stocking, facing and rotation of inventory stock, picking inventory stock orders, palletizing inventory stock orders, stretch-wrapping inventory stock orders, loading inventory orders into customer vehicles by hand, inventory order deliveries, and inventory tracking and forecasting trends. Also includes in-house counter customer service, fielding phone calls, filling and managing new stock forms, and customer inventory requisition audits.
3. AUCTION - Liaise with auction vendor to schedule auction pickups for on and off-site locations, complete and log property transfer forms for auction transfer tracking, and select property to be transferred to auction.
4. GENERAL HOUSE KEEPING - Washing all equipment and vehicles, sweeping the warehouse with sweeping compound, gathering and disposing of garbage, removing recycling, parking lot metal removal utilizing the rolling magnet, dock cleaning, and pump grate obstruction cleaning, using brooms and blowers to maintain a clean and neat entrance way.
5. EQUIPMENT - Conducting daily and monthly inspection logging and tracking of equipment and vehicles, equipment spot inspections, logged safety walks, daily, weekly, and monthly fire extinguisher and eye wash inspections, operation of banding and stretch-wrap machines, pallet jack operation, and equipment and vehicle spotting.
6. Other duties - Performing similar duties as assigned on an as-needed basis.
