Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time role involves heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment and occasional overtime.

You will unload, inspect, and move products and may make deliveries in a 26’ box truck, while supporting inventory and damage control. Requirements include being at least 21 with a valid driver’s license and one year of driving experience; must pass DOT tests and MVR checks, and be able to read and speak

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement.
• Must pass DOT requirements including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75lb) predominantly by hand.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.

In this position you will:

• Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed
• Assist with inventory and damage control

The Details:

This position is full-time Monday - Friday with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is $19-21 based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Addition compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
