Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle daily warehouse operations for film/TV productions, maintaining and upkeeping rental equipment and fulfilling orders. You will support production crews, ensure safety, and keep inventory in optimal condition to meet production demands.

The role requires 2+ years in film/TV and warehouse work, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-site, full-time position offering competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in the Film/Television industry.
  • 2+ years warehouse experience.
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with set lighting and grip equipment is a plus.
  • On-site work and strong communication skills required.

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the daily operations in working with NBCU’s feature-films and episodic TV productions. You will be responsible for maintaining and upkeeping the rental equipment, as well as the day-to-day demands from productions and production crews. You will be responsible for fulfilling all outgoing and incoming equipment orders, as well as maintaining orderliness and safety of the warehouse environment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining rental equipment to ensure inventory is performing in the best possible condition to keep up with productions demands. The role also maintains close relationships with production representatives to analyze and make decisions relating to the production. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure that all equipment is ready for rental
  • Identify equipment that needs maintenance or to be sent out for repair
  • Ensure all orders have been pulled and prepped properly for production crews
  • Anticipate equipment shortages and stay on top of the equipment in high demand
  • Stay on top of productions needs and orders
  • Time manage the flow of the equipment coming in and going out
  • Maintain shop cleanliness , organization, and safety
  • Pickup and delivery of equipment
Qualifications

What You Must Have:

  • 2+ years' experience in the Film/Television industry
  • 2+ years warehouse experience
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs

What Would Make You a Stand-out:

  • 2+ years' experience in managing the timing of production schedules
  • Proven past experience and knowledge of Set Lighting and Grip equipment an asset
  • Prior on-set production experience or Equipment Rental House experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Inventory tracking system; RTPro
  • Ability to develop strong relationships
  • Ability to promote a positive work environment and help solve problems

Additional Requirement:

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000
