Altorfer Industries, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Mokena, IL location. You will safely perform parts picking, packing, shipping, and receiving while ensuring accurate inventory and customer service within a unionized, team-oriented environment.
The role requires forklift operation, a Class C license, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting with occasional overtime.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Altorfer Industries, Inc is seeking a professional Warehouse Worker at our Mokena, IL location. The individual should be personable, possess problem solving capabilities, intelligent and able to adapt to all of the factors around them - Customers, suppliers, departmental employees, and peers.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or equivalent, a technical school diploma in parts operations, or equivalent experience in warehousing in a distribution business.
Class C license (NON-CDL) or higher is required
USD $19.87/Hr.
USD $30.41/Hr.

This position works in both a warehouse environment with some outside exposure and office environment. May, on a continuous basis sit at a desk for long periods of time, answer phone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. May on a continuous basis, walk, bend and lift up to 75 pounds. The wearing of approved safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses with side shields, cut resistant gloves and steel toe footwear) is required. Noise level in the office is usually low and the noise level in the warehouse may range from low to moderate. Must be flexible during peak season to work overtime as needed. Occasional local travel may be required to deliver parts to customers. Must be able to operate a powered forklift safely and operate a company box truck.
