Job description

Duties : The Associate Warehouse Worker is responsible for providing superior sales support and customer service by working with the distribution team through receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment functions, as well as supporting organizational Lean objectives. This is an 18-month probationary position leading to T06. Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Prepare and ship outbound parcels and receive inbound products.
2. Review and retain task-related ERP system transactions to maintain functional expertise.
3. Contribute to team goals by accomplishing assigned tasks while meeting key performance targets.
4. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet areas, racks, shelves, aisles, and workstations neat and organized.
5. Prepare Hazmat paperwork for related shipments (UPS / FEDEX / LTL).
6. Prepare Bills of Lading.
7. Maintain inventory control through appropriate equipment use and cycle counts.
8. Ensure quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions :

• Adverse conditions such as erratic temperature control (hot in summer, cold in winter).
• Workshop environment may involve heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles.
• Operation of large equipment and machinery (e.g., production machines and forklifts).

Safety Equipment Required :

• Adhere to safety regulations as per Hilti and OSHA standards.
• Proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials.
• Wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, safety vests, and other safety gear as required.

Physical Requirements :

• Regular heavy lifting of 50+ lbs.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Use of warehouse material handling equipment and truck loading/unloading.
• Tolerance for variable climate, prolonged standing, repetitive bending, reaching, and ladder climbing.
