Job Description

The Warehouse Worker’s primary responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This role ensures the warehouse remains clean and organized, adhering to facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Receive, inspect, and accurately label products; report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
2. Organize and store incoming products, applying FIFO inventory controls for perishables.
3. Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts, with training if necessary.
4. Pick inventory to assemble orders based on requisitions or par levels.
5. Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
6. Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to client locations, using carts or industrial vehicles as needed.
7. Conduct routine physical inventory counts according to schedule.
8. Complete administrative tasks such as inventory logs, temperature and spoilage records, and equipment inspections, either manually or via digital systems.
9. Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight zones.
10. Implement safety policies, OSHA standards, SDS protocols, and emergency procedures, using appropriate PPE.
11. Ensure the security of assets and client property.
12. Engage with clients, colleagues, vendors, and guests regarding business activities and participate in meetings as required.
