Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a warehouse associate in Knoxville, TN. This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. You will unload and inspect products, stage and load for customers, and occasionally drive a 26’ box truck to deliver orders.

The role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with potential overtime. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) with a 3% company

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50–75 lb).
• Must pass DOT requirements including physical, background screening, and MVR.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50–75 lb) mostly by hand.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.

In this position you will:

Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand

Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service

Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed

Assist with inventory and damage control

Requirements and Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license, with at least one year of driving experience

Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement

Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards

Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines

Demonstrated history of steady employment

The Details:

This position is full-time Monday - Friday from 7a-3:30p with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is$21-23based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications . Addition compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
