Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Warehouse Worker in Jonesboro, AR to support daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and speed to keep orders moving.

The ideal candidate must be able to stand for long periods, lift 15–50 pounds, and work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm. A high school diploma is preferred, warehouse experience is a plus, and a competitive weekly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable using scanning technology and warehouse systems to pick and fill orders.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, off shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for 90 to 95 percent of the shift.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds and handle products safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and cases to and from trailers.
• Pick appropriate cases using required technology.
• Receive and distribute product and assist with weekly inventory.
• Build boxes and sort cartons at case rate, including clean outs and load outs.
• Strap and roll cardboard bundles onto trailers using a dolly.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
• Support inventory control and recycling of cardboard.
• Service cartons to crane operators and production as needed.

Education Requirements

• Ability to wear required safety attire, including a hairnet, safety glasses, or bump cap for the duration of the shift.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and walk for 90 to 95 percent of the shift.


• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.


• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products weighing 15 to 50 pounds.


• Comfortable working in a loud, temperature-varied warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Job Duties

• Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers using carts or manual stacking.


• Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology.


• Receive and distribute product, assisting with weekly inventory.


• Build cardboard boxes and sort cartons at case rate, including clean outs and load outs.


• Strap and roll cardboard bundles onto 53-foot trailers using a dolly.


• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks, including sweeping, trailer cleaning, and trash removal.


• Support carton inventory control and recycling of old cardboard.


• Service cartons to crane operators and production as needed.
