Job summary

Hawaii Transfer Company is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse and logistics operations, safely handling freight, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory.

You will work on a team to keep a clean, organized facility, follow safety policies, and assist with audits and reports while communicating clearly with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience with loading/unloading and material handling.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification where required).
• Accurate inventory documentation and paperwork.
• Commitment to safety policies and clean, organized work area.
• Team player with flexibility to perform other duties.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage freight using proper techniques.
• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outbound freight per shipping docs.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Complete paperwork and inventory records accurately.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and comply with House Rules.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits.
• Communicate workflow issues with supervisors and team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse and logistics operations by safely handling freight, preparing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations and meeting customer service standards at Hawaii Transfer Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage freight using proper material handling techniques
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
• Pick, pack, and prepare outbound freight according to shipping documentation
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks (certification required where applicable)
• Accurately complete paperwork, scans, and inventory documentation
• Maintain warehouse and facility cleanliness and organization to meet safety and operational standards
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and House Rules
• Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and issues
• Perform other duties as assign

Job Pay

$26.93 - $26.93 per hour
