Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker to assist in distribution, receiving, and order fulfillment. Responsibilities include receiving products, verifying quantities, stocking orders, and maintaining inventories, all while adhering to AVI policies and safety guidelines.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in temperature extremes, and multitask in a fast-paced warehouse setting. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential for success at AVI.

Qualifications

• Experience in large food warehouse is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all distribution and receiving functions in the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving are timely and orderly.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including security procedures.
• Communicate issues of concern to management (e.g., cleanliness, safety, or security).

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders

• Ensure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
