Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, seeks a warehouse associate in Columbus, GA. The role involves physically demanding work with heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Full-time, Monday–Friday, early shift with occasional overtime.

Pay rate $20–$22 per hour, with potential driving bonuses and target bonuses. Responsibilities include unloading and inspecting incoming product, pulling and loading for customers, making deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed, and assisting with inventory

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75 lb) and constant movement.
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements including physical, background screening, and MVR that meets Amarr driver standards.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75 lb by hand).
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, providing excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.

In this position you will:

Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand

Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service

Provide deliveries in a 26’ box truck as needed

Assist with inventory and damage control

The Details:

This position is full-time Monday - Friday from 6:30a-3pp with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is$20-22based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications . Additional compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
