Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring for a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, GA. The role involves unloading and inspecting heavy product, pulling and loading for customers, and occasional deliveries in a 26’ box truck. The position operates Monday–Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license, with at least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50–75 lb) and constant movement.
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service.

In this position you will:

• Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand

• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service

The Details:

This position is full-time Monday - Friday from 6:30a-3p with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is $20-22 based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Additional compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
