Job summary

Metals USA Flat Rolled Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Cartersville, GA. You will locate completed products, fill orders, package goods, and tag items. You will move products using conveyors and equipment, and transport items to the warehouse for shipment.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift and overhead crane, identifying defects, and performing related duties as assigned. Must read measuring tapes and calipers; high school graduate with fluent English required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate and fluent in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Two years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklift and overhead crane.
• Experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read measuring tapes and calipers.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.

• Uses plant specific packaging equipment including conveyors, stackers, downenders and banders to move product

• May perform other duties as related or assigned.
