Wegmans Food Markets is seeking an overnight warehouse selector for our distribution team. You will accurately select products for Wegmans stores, using your attention to detail and teamwork to ensure safe, timely deliveries.

The role features four 10-hour shifts per week, potential cold environments, and comprehensive safety training. Frozen positions include a $2.00/hour premium. Wegmans values its people with competitive pay and benefits.

• Experience operating pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.

• Ability to lift 20-25 lbs on average, with occasional heavier lifts.

Responsabilidades

• Build pallets safely and efficiently to protect product and maximize trailer space.
• Safely operate required equipment, including forklift, pallet jack and Vocollect.
• Perform order audits to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of quality standards and product specifications.
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports.
• Maintain cold chain integrity for temperature-controlled loads.
• May work in cold environments; lift 20–25 lb on average, up to 50+ occasionally.

EARN A BONUS UP TO $500! As a warehouse selector on our distribution team, you’ll help deliver exceptional service by accurately and efficiently selecting products for Wegmans stores, using your attention to detail and teamwork skills to ensure success.

Work schedule: Overnight positions consist of four 10-hour shifts per week

What You'll Do

• Ensure pallets of product are built safely and efficiently in a manner that minimizes product damage in transportation and maximizes trailer space
• Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties; this may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect
• Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality
• Maintain knowledge of all quality standards/specifications and requirements for all products
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports as well as other forms of necessary communication
• Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements
• May work in and have exposure to cold temperatures; lift weight of 20-25 pounds on average with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect

Note: Frozen positions earn an extra $2.00/hour
