Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is hiring an entry-level Warehouse Worker/Driver for the Anaheim, CA area. You will support warehouse operations, assist in order pulling, packing, shipping, and receiving, and operate a forklift as needed. This role includes driving deliveries and basic equipment troubleshooting.

The position requires basic math, good communication, and a valid forklift certification; no prior experience is necessary. OT may be required and safety is a priority.

PCI is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Worker/Driver for our PCI Los Angeles 107 branch operations based in Anaheim, CA.

Job Description

• Follow all safety standards and requirements


• Assist in warehouse functions consisting of order pulling, truck loading, packaging, shipping, receiving and material handling.


• Operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner


• Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy


• Determines appropriate places for storage assuring that stocking and stacking conforms to safety procedures and product protection requirements


• Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, dry and free from debris


• Driving - delivery


• Mechanically inclined- Able to troubleshoot and/or fix small equipment, service, maintenance, etc.

The pay rate for this role is $21-$25 an hour based on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic math.


• No previous experience necessary.


• No supervisory responsibilities.


• Must be at least 21 years old.


• Prolonged periods standing and working outside.


• Physically able to perform assigned tasks.


• Must be able to perform regular heavy lifting when handling warehouse materials, lift 40 pounds at a time.


• Some overtime may be required.


• Good communication skills


• DOT certified with experience driving a box truck.


• Drug Screen required


• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass PCG's MVR, (Motor Vehicle Report)


• Forklift certification required.


• Organization Skills to access email and coordinate delivery scheduling.
