Job summary

UDI in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Wine Quality Control associate to check beer pallets for accuracy, record discrepancies, and support inventory control and shipping activities. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, maintain safety, sanitation, and security of the warehouse, and assist with other duties as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include verifying loads, recording errors, performing daily equipment checklists, and reporting safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Six months of experience in a similar position strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating electric pallet jack, forklift and other power equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Check beer pallets for inaccuracy and make corrections.
  • Ensure loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable.
  • Keep records to track in-house errors for picker accuracy.
  • Submit a daily power equipment checklist to the manager.
  • Report safety or mechanical problems with power equipment in writing.
  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse security and cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

He or she appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures, and is flexible to perform other functions such as inventory control, sales pick up, shipping & receiving, and returns.
