Job summary

Summit in Wisconsin is seeking a warehouse utility worker to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks in the commissary warehouse in Madison, WI. You will pick and pull items, verify orders, and help maintain organized inventory for distribution.

This onsite role requires teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to follow instructions. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and commuter options.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pull products according to commissary orders and pick lists.
• Verify product descriptions, quantities, and order accuracy.
• Pack, sort, label, and organize orders for distribution.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming merchandise.
• Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory locations.
• Assist with inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Load, unload, and move products using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse spaces and work areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with deliveries and other warehouse duties as assigned.

The Role at a glance

We are looking to add a skilled utility worker to our correctional team in Madison, WI. As a warehouse utility worker, you will have the opportunity to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion.

What you'll be doing

• Pick and pull products according to commissary orders and pick lists.
• Verify product descriptions, quantities, and order accuracy.
• Pack, sort, label, and organize orders for distribution.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming merchandise.
• Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory locations.
• Assist with inventory counts and report shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
• Load, unload, and move products using appropriate equipment.
• Keep the warehouse, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and inventory control procedures.
• Assist with commissary deliveries and other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Follow all company policies and any applicable correctional facility security requirements.

Compensation Range

$23.00 per hour
