Summit is seeking a Commissary Attendant for an onsite role in Madison, WI. You will pick, pack, and deliver commissary orders to inmates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to facility procedures. The position requires passing a background check and offers full-time hours with a daytime schedule.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of correctional standards, strong customer service and computer skills, and excellent communication and organization. One year of commissary experience is a plus.

The Role at a glance:

We are excited to bring a versatile commissary attendant to our correctional team in Madison, WI. As a commissary attendant, you will have the opportunity to: ensure excellent commissary services for an assigned correctional facility’s commissary program.

Applicants will be required to pass a background check in accordance with any background check procedures required by the correctional facility and applicable law.

What you'll be doing:

• Pick, pack, and fulfill commissary orders for food and personal hygiene products.
• Deliver orders to inmates accurately and efficiently in accordance with facility procedures.
• Verify order contents to ensure accuracy before delivery.
• Follow all correctional facility policies, security procedures, and applicable standards.

What we're looking for:

Compensation Range

$19.25 per hour

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
