Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Warehouse Utility & Sanitation Associate in Middletown, PA to support daily operations in our fast-paced distribution center. You will maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, remove trash, operate compactors, balers, and material-handling equipment, and assist with general warehouse tasks.

This role requires independence, reliability, and a willingness to perform hands-on cleaning, with standing, walking, bending, lifting throughout shifts; prior DC or sanitation

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, sanitation, or distribution center experience preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating pallet jacks or walkie stackers is a plus.
• Willingness to perform hands-on cleaning and general warehouse duties.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Willingness to assist other warehouse departments when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
• Empty trash cans, containers, and large waste hoppers.
• Sort and separate trash, recycling, and cardboard.
• Operate a cardboard baler.
• Operate trash and recycling compactors.
• Use a walkie stacker and pallet jack to move materials.
• Sweep warehouse floors and maintain clean work areas.
• Clean windows and other designated areas as needed.
• Clean and maintain tape machine brushes.
• Remove cardboard and other packaging materials from work areas.
• Help keep aisles, workstations, and common warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues.
• Assist with picking, packing, receiving, and general warehouse duties when needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety and operating procedures.

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Keep Our Distribution Center Running Safely & Efficiently!

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Warehouse Utility & Sanitation Associate to support daily operations within our fast-paced distribution center. This is not a traditional janitorial position. You’ll work directly on the warehouse floor helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized distribution environment. Your primary responsibilities will include removing trash and recycling, operating compactors and material‑handling equipment, sweeping warehouse areas, and performing general facility upkeep.

What You’ll Do

• Work independently to maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse, sanitation, janitorial, custodial, utility, or distribution center experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Experience using a pallet jack or walkie stacker is a plus
• Experience with cardboard balers or compactors is a plus
• Willingness to perform hands‑on cleaning and general warehouse duties
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to assist other warehouse departments when needed
