Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse/Material Handler role in Waycross, GA. You will assist with forklift, shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse duties to support efficient operations.

You will work under a shift lead, maintain safety standards, and contribute to accurate inventory while helping our team meet daily production and distribution goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED or 6–12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork; willingness to work weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist or perform Material Handler, Forklift operator, Clerk, and grounds duties.
• Support warehouse lead duties, release shipments, dock coordination and check loaded pallets.
• Support inventory and warehouse clerk duties, inventory count reconciliation, process shipments and create Purchase Orders / Stock Transfer Orders.
• Unload inbound shipments, load Direct Store Delivery trucks, and replenish products.
• Build pallets, restack products, and ensure safety and quality in the workplace.

Job Description

Assist or perform other positions in the warehouse to include forklift, material handler, clerk positions. Keep facility clean and orderly including shipping, warehouse, and outside grounds by performing the following duties. Assist shift supervisor and/or lead in the areas of shipping, loading, receiving, warehouse storage, product rotation, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety

What your day will look like:

• Assist or perform Material Handler, Forklift operator, Clerk, building & grounds duties
• Support warehouse lead duties, release shipments, dock coordinator and check loaded pallets
• Support inventory and warehouse clerk duties, inventory count reconciliation, process shipments and create Purchase Orders /Stock Transfer Order
• Unload inbound shipments, load Direct Store Delivery trucks and put away and replenishment of product
• Build pallets via paper order or Voice pick
• Rework damaged product in warehouse
• Sort product and replenish flow racks
• Restack fallen product
• Straighten and sort pallets and shells
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Operate efficiently to increase productivity while maintaining an excellent level of safety and quality in the workplace
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
