Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Utility 1 in Harahan, LA. You will repack products with damaged packaging, keep a clean warehouse, and sort product or shells. The role requires following repack procedures and maintaining packaging integrity while meeting deadlines.

The position emphasizes safety, PPE use, and basic operations like pallet jack and forklift handling. No prior experience specified; weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify products that are in good sellable condition to be included in the repack process.
• Account for and report all products that need to be destroyed and recuperated through recycling.
• Follow guidelines pertaining to repack processes including date coding, cleaning, taping, gluing, and testing package integrity.
• Maintain package quality and integrity while performing duties in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Load miscellaneous items, stack pallets and shells.
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

The Warehouse Utility 1 is responsible for the repack of products that have damaged packaging from trade or warehouse handling, maintaining a clean warehouse and sorting product or shells

What your day will look like:

• Identify products that are in good sellable condition to be included in the repack business process procedure

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• Less than high school education; or up to 1-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
