Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Warehouse Utility on second shift to support warehouse and yard operations. The role requires safe handling of materials, operating powered equipment, and ensuring proper storage, loading, and temperature control of products.

Key duties include inspecting inbound receipts, stocking materials, loading/unloading, and operating a range of warehouse equipment. Must have a CDL and be able to work in 33°F–90°F environments, including overtime and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid CDL.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work in temperatures 33°F to 90°F.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts.
• Prior Yard Jockey experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound receipts, date, record, and mark items.
• Stock inbound materials in designated storage locations.
• Load completed orders and unload trucks as required.
• Operate warehouse and yard equipment (floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, stand-up forklifts, yard hostlers).
• Perform yard checks, spot trailers for the Tank Yard, and audit refrigerated trailers at yard and dock doors.
• Monitor refrigerated trailer temperatures and report malfunctions immediately.
• Support miscellaneous projects and adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

The Warehouse Utilities Forklift Driver supports warehouse and yard operations by safely handling materials, operating powered equipment, and ensuring proper storage, loading, and temperature control of products. This role helps maintain efficient logistics while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

• Must have a Valid CDL


• Inspect, date, record, and properly mark all inbound receipts


• Stock inbound materials in designated storage locations


• Load completed orders and unload trucks as required


• Operate warehouse and yard equipment, including floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, stand-up forklifts, and yard hostlers


• Perform yard checks, spot trailers for the Tank Yard, and conduct routine audits of refrigerated trailers in the yard and at dock doors


• Monitor and report refrigerated trailer temperatures exceeding 36°F and report equipment or yard truck malfunctions immediately


• Support miscellaneous projects and perform other assigned duties while adhering to company policies, plant rules, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, EPA)

Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 3:00PM-11:30PM Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.
