Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, conscientious individual to work in our Upholstery Department. This individual will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of parts by measuring and verifying that they meet required specifications. Job responsibilities include safely operating glue adhesive instruments in a well-ventilated area, as well as various power, pneumatic, and hand tools to complete tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on tasks that are routine in nature are vital to success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure and verify that parts conform to required specifications.
• Operate glue adhesive instruments safely in a well-ventilated area.
• Skillfully use various power, pneumatic, and hand tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of foam, wood, and hardware, and promptly report any shortages to management.
• Record material usage, production details, and quality control issues with precision.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day

Required Experience:

• Manufacturing: 2 years
• Hand Tools: 1 year
• Blueprint Reading: 1 year

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
