Job summary

Automation Personnel Services Dalton Branch is seeking a Warehouse Unpacker for full-time, long-term temporary work in Dalton, GA. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive tasks, and willingness to work in varied warehouse conditions.

Compensation includes day shift $17.00/hr and night shift $18.00/hr with weekly pay and full benefits after 1 year of continuous service. Work schedule includes 2 on/2 off/3 on shifts and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Lift, carry, and move packages up to 50lbs (in office assessment will be conducted).
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks, bending, standing, and walking for long periods.
• Willingness to work in varied conditions (temperature-controlled or warehouse environments).
• Drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Manually unpack, lift, carry, and position incoming shipments, boxes, and pallets.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Break down boxes, dispose of packing materials, and recycle where appropriate.
• Assist in unloading containers as needed.

Job description

Pay Rate

Day shift: $17.00 per hour

Night shift: $18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Day shift: 8:00am-8:00pm swing shift (2 days on/2 days off/3 days on)

Night shift: 8:00pm-8:00am swing shift (2 days on/2 days off/3 days on)

Must be willing to work every other weekend

Warehouse Unpacker Duties and Responsibilities

• Manually unpack, lift, carry, and position incoming shipments, boxes, and pallets.
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Break down boxes, dispose of packing materials, and recycle where appropriate
• Assist in unloading containers as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use.
