Velociti Services seeks a dependable Tugger Operator / Janitorial Associate to support a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. You will operate a tugger, collect and dispose of warehouse materials, and rotate into general janitorial duties as needed.

Crafted for flexibility, the role includes clean-room responsibilities across offices and common areas, with training provided on-site. Cold-storage work may occur, and PPE is supplied.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a tugger throughout the warehouse to support material collection and removal.
• Collect and transport cardboard, plastic, metal, broken wood, and other warehouse materials to designated disposal or collection areas.
• Empty and maintain collection bins located throughout the warehouse.
• Keep warehouse floors, aisles, work areas, and designated collection points clean and free of debris.
• Support the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and immediately report equipment or safety concerns.
• Follow established warehouse traffic patterns, equipment procedures, and safety requirements.
• Operate in designated cold-storage areas as required, rotating in and out of these areas throughout the shift.
• Rotate into general janitorial assignments based on operational needs.
• Clean offices, restrooms, breakrooms, canteens, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
• Replenish restroom and facility supplies as needed.
• Perform additional warehouse housekeeping and janitorial duties as assigned.

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Tugger Operator / Janitorial Associate to support operations in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.

The primary responsibilities of this position are operating a tugger throughout the warehouse and maintaining warehouse cleanliness by collecting, transporting, and disposing of materials such as cardboard, plastic, metal, broken wood, and other debris.

Employees will also rotate into other janitorial assignments, including cleaning offices, restrooms, breakrooms, canteens, and other common areas as needed.

Some tugger operations will take place in cold-storage areas. Employees will rotate in and out of cold-storage areas throughout the shift and will not remain in cold storage for the entire shift. Cold-weather gear and composite-toe work boots will be provided.

Schedule

Positions are scheduled Monday through Saturday, with available shifts including:

• 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Scheduled start and end times may shift slightly based on operational and client needs. Candidates must have flexibility to accommodate reasonable adjustments to their scheduled hours.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Tugger & Warehouse Operations:

• Rotate into general janitorial assignments based on operational needs.
• Clean offices, restrooms, breakrooms, canteens, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
• Replenish restroom and facility supplies as needed.
• Perform additional warehouse housekeeping and janitorial duties as assigned.

Equipment Training

• Previous tugger or Power Industrial Equipment experience is not required.
• Equipment training and certification will be provided on-site.
• Employees must successfully complete required training before independently operating applicable equipment.

Qualifications

• Willing and able to perform both tugger operations and janitorial duties.
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
• Ability to work periodically in cold-storage environments.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to safety and surroundings when operating equipment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and facility requirements.
• Flexibility to work assigned schedules and accommodate slight changes in shift times based on operational needs.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Cold-weather gear is provided for work performed in cold-storage areas.
• Composite-toe work boots are provided.
• Additional required PPE will be provided or communicated based on the work assignment.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Successful completion of a background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and complete required employment eligibility verification.

Work Environment

This position works primarily in an active warehouse and distribution environment. The role involves frequent equipment operation, material collection, warehouse housekeeping, and periods of work in cold-storage areas.

Employees will rotate in and out of cold-storage areas during the shift and may also rotate into office and general facility cleaning assignments based on operational needs.

Primary Role:

Tugger operation and warehouse material cleanup

Secondary/Rotational Role:

Office, restroom, breakroom, and general janitorial cleaning
