Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator (Transporter) for a food manufacturing facility in Niles, IL. This full-time, 3rd shift role offers $22.00 per hour with weekly pay and a safety-focused team environment.

You will operate forklifts, load/unload, perform inventory transactions, and support production while following GMP, OSHA, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Warehouse or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Excel/Word) required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy.
• Receiving, put-away, and inventory transactions using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Cycle counts, validate inventory, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support production by supplying materials and moving pallets as needed.
• Inspect forklifts daily and perform basic equipment checks.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and report any product damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
