Job summary

Expeditors in Massachusetts is seeking a Warehouse Associate to coordinate freight flow, receive goods, and load pallets. You will ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance while supporting a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role involves forklift operation, DG checks as needed, and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace. Prior experience 6 months to 1 year is preferred; competitive hourly pay applies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all work activities relating to processing freight flow (in- & outbound).
• Receive goods and check freight for correct quantity, quality and possible damages.

• Loading and unloading of trucks by use of a forklift and/or electric pump trucks.
• Create OSD reports and ensure correct completion.
• Check cargo manifests and assign to the Warehouse Agent Senior or Lead.

Job Description

• Coordinate all work activities relating to processing freight flow (in- & outbound);
• Receive goods and check freight for correctquantity, quality and possible damages;
• Picking, checking and loading pallets for outgoing freight
• Good knowledge ofhandlingvarious internal means oftransport ;
• Loading and unloading of trucks by use of a forklift and/or electric pump trucks;
• Create OSD reports and ensure correct completion;
• Checking cargo manifests and assign to the Warehouse Agent Senior or Lead;
• Perform double checks on the freight, ULDs, references & AWB numbers;
• Perform Dangerous Goods and/or Lithium checks (if in possession of IATA DG Certificate);
• Different contouring, such as building and breaking down ofULDs;
• Adhere to security and compliance rules as set up by Expeditors;
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedure
• Maintain a clean work environment, all transport systems, storage areas, workplaces.
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations
• Escalation of problems to Management when necessary
• Complete 52 hours of training credit per year
• Timely problem solving/resolution
• Any functions deemed necessary by supervisor or manager
• Develop friendly and professional relationships with service providers
• Must maintain and preserve company culture
• Must display a willingness to work in a team environment
• Ensure all DG, OSD, Licensableand Unknown Shipper freight is put in proper location.
• Use of standard office equipment - computer with keyboard and mouse, phone, fax/copy/scan machine, etc.
• Functions performed primarily on a Forklift Truck and standing.
