Valley Queen in Milbank, SD is hiring a Warehouse Training & Compliance Coordinator to lead onboarding and safety training for warehouse staff. You will manage forklift certification, track training records, and develop materials to ensure compliance and quality across operations.
Collaborating with multiple departments, you will drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and performance while serving as the subject matter expert on training and compliance requirements.

This position is responsible for coordinating employee training and compliance activities that support safe and effective warehouse operations. This role oversees onboarding, equipment certification, skills development, training documentation, and compliance auditing to ensure employees are properly trained and qualified to perform their duties. This position will be expected to collaborate throughout the organization to support workforce development, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position has no supervisory responsibility but will be expected to assist in training all new employees within the department.
This job operates in an office as well as a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to temperature variation, chemical transportation, forklift operation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently will need to sit, stand, or walk. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are generally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Minimal travel is required.
High school diploma or GED is required for this position. Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics operations, including experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products. Forklift certification will be required upon hire.
Experience administering training programs, conducting audits or observations, developing training materials, and supporting safety and compliance initiatives is preferred. Forklift certification and experience serving as a trainer or subject matter expert for equipment operation and workplace safety are highly desirable. Bilingual in English/Spanish.
