Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant in Florida to support daily warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and tool management. You will help maintain a safe, organized yard and assist in deliveries and stock transfers.

The role requires at least 3 years of warehouse experience, strong communication, and a valid Florida driver’s license. The company offers comprehensive benefits and ESOP participation in a growing, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of warehouse experience coordinating and organizing inventoried materials.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Compliance with all B&I safety procedures; pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving and delivery duties.
• Keep warehouse and yard neat and organized and free of safety hazards.
• Assist in receiving, labeling, and verifying incoming shipments.
• Assist in pulling tool orders and receiving tools from the field.
• Perform stock pulls or inventory transfers for inventory items.
• Stage and pack equipment for upcoming jobs by priority.
• Support yard operations and spare fleet activities as needed.
• Report safety and building concerns to the manager.
