Job summary

Polk Mechanical is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, tool inventory, and fleet support in a fast-paced construction environment in Grand Prairie, TX.

The role requires strong organizational, safety-conscious leadership and the ability to coordinate materials, equipment, and maintenance across multiple job sites. A current forklift certification and solid inventory-management skills are essential to ensure timely, safe support for field teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or related operations.
• Supervisory or warehouse management experience preferred.
• Experience with tools, equipment, materials, or inventory in construction/industrial env.
• Current forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational, planning, and inventory-management skills.
• Ability to track multiple assets across locations.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills with field employees and vendors.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn inventory, fleet, and company systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and security.
• Receive, inspect, store, and record materials, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate distribution to active jobsites and maintain records.
• Manage tool and equipment inventory and returns.
• Coordinate inspections, maintenance, and calibration of tools.
• Ensure safety and compliance; operate forklifts safely.
• Support facility needs and maintain consumables.
