Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Technician in Alabama. Primary duties include moving products, receiving and shipping materials, and handling packaging and dunnage. You will operate forklifts, balers, and transloading equipment, and use SAP for inventory movements.

The role requires rotating start times, occasional overtime, and weekend shifts. Benefits are available; direct hire with a focus on safety and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be forklift certified (company certifies on-the-job).
• Must work rotating start times, Monday–Friday with occasional overtime and weekend shifts.
• Must possess basic computer proficiency.
• Comfortable working with SAP is a must.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to manage communications with customers, internal partners and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Move finished product, raw materials and packaging within the warehouse.
• Receive and ship materials; handle packaging and dunnage.
• Operate baler, transloading equipment and forklifts.
• Use SAP to ship/receive and track movements in the warehouse.
• Coordinate material movements with third-party logistics providers.
• Assist with customer complaint follow-up and root cause investigations.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and perform light maintenance.
• Support general warehouse activities as assigned.
