Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), forklift experience (training provided), and strong communication and organizational skills. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to various shifts and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or College education.
• Forklift experience is preferred (training provided).
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency at the completion of initial training.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to written work instructions, ensuring accurate and safe execution of tasks.
• Work safely with PPE and escalate safety or quality concerns.
• Perform quality checks on incoming materials and maintain product integrity.
• Convey materials from receiving to storage or designated locations.
• Sort and place materials on racks according to size, temperature specs, or product code.
• Unload materials, verify paperwork, note discrepancies, and distribute items.
• Assemble paperwork from customer service and place orders on pallets.
• Mark materials with identifying information and verify accuracy.
• Wrap and ship skids securely and efficiently.
• Use computers for inter-company correspondence and data download.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials following safety rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service center.
• Report any items or individuals out of order to management.
