Job summary

Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will prepare orders, verify inventory, and package shipments while following safety and packing guidelines.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, cross-checking tickets with slips, and operating a forklift/pallet jack. 18+ years, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a DOT medical exam are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Experience with inventory control systems is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack is a plus.
• Basic computer skills are required to update records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock.
• Notify Supervisor of shortages and packaging material restocking needs.
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
