Job summary

BEUMER Group is seeking a Warehouse Technician I to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and production support. You will collaborate with Spare Parts, Project Management, Engineering, and Accounting to meet customer requirements and goals.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, continuous improvement, and future technology implementations to drive growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or spare parts experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material flow.
  • Experience operating forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate all warehouse equipment used in the facility.
  • SAP experience preferred; ERP systems, RF scanners, or warehouse technology preferred.
  • Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to create and use spreadsheets, reports, and documentation.
  • Experience supporting process improvement and standardization in warehouse operations.
  • Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across all warehouse functions with productivity and accuracy.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds; frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and a clean, safe warehouse.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments and support material flow.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits; assist physical inventory activities.
  • Operate forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts safely.
  • Maintain inventory transactions using SAP, RF scanners, and related systems.
  • Assist in the development and standardization of warehouse processes, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Support safety initiatives and comply with policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, production support, and warehouse organization. This role works closely with Spare Parts, Project Management, Engineering, Accounting, and other departments to support customer requirements and operational goals. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting operational efficiency, and delivering world‑class customer service. The successful candidate will contribute to warehouse standardization, continuous improvement initiatives, and future technology implementations that support long‑term growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, material storage, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments while supporting the efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and support annual physical inventory activities.
  • Safely and proficiently operate all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation utilizing SAP, RF scanners, and related business systems.
  • Support future WMS implementation efforts and assist in the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes, work instructions, SOPs, and operational best practices.
  • Support safety initiatives, comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to a culture where safety is a shared responsibility.

Compensation: $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or spare parts experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material flow.
  • Experience operating forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and other warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Ability to safely and proficiently operate all warehouse equipment utilized within the facility.
  • SAP experience preferred; experience utilizing ERP systems, RF scanners, or warehouse technology strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within or supporting a Warehouse Management System (WMS) environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and utilize spreadsheets, reports, and electronic documentation.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, warehouse standardization, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety, inventory accuracy, operational discipline, and customer service.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across all warehouse functions while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to support customer commitments and business requirements.
Work Schedule

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to support customer requirements, emergency orders, critical shipments, and business objectives.
