Job summary

Swagelok Texas Mid-Coast is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support inventory receipt, order picking, packing, and shipment preparation. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Team members will operate bar code scanners and material-handling equipment, maintain inventory records, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. A forklift certification or ability to obtain one is required.

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn and contribute is equally important.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory.
• Pick, verify, package, and prepare customer and production orders for shipment.
• Check orders for accuracy after successfully completing required checker training.
• Operate barcode scanners and material-handling equipment to efficiently move and track products.
• Inspect products for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required warehouse transactions in company systems.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, organized, and aligned with 5S standards.
• Follow STMC safety policies, quality standards, and established warehouse procedures.
• Work closely with warehouse, operations, customer service, and inspection teams to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Cross-train in warehouse functions to build skills and provide additional support to the team.
• Carefully handle Swagelok products and company assets to maintain product quality and inventory integrity.
• Perform other warehouse-related responsibilities as business needs require.
