Warehouse Technician –Fixed Term (Summer 2025)

Position Summary

Our warehouse is at the heart of Enlightened, servicing all strands of the business from Hire, Sales, Production, Installation and Repairs. Key to our success is the continued pride in everything we do and the quality of the equipment we supply. This role within the warehouse, working within a team, handling all equipment that goes out and back, with the prep, runup and maintenance required, is critical to the smooth running of Enlightened, where attention to detail is essential.

We offer full production services, supported dry hire, design and delivery of permanent installations, competitive and intelligent sales, skilled repairs, and maintenance to a diverse range of clients and venues. Our full-time staff have extensive expertise in Lighting, Audio, Rigging, Staging, and AV Equipment. We know how to achieve spectacular results.

Based in Bristol we are ideally positioned to supply equipment and services across a large section of the UK.

Role: Warehouse Technician (Summer Fixed term)

Capabilities

• Entry level position on a fixed term contract
• Basic knowledge and understanding of entertainment equipment is ideal but not essential
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles
• Scanning equipment on our rental software hiretrack
• Prep and deprep equipment
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Assist with housekeeping duties
• PAT testing/inspection

Pay

£11.44 – £12.40 per hour, 40hrs per week

(£8,053.76 – £8,729.60 for full fixed period)

Working Hours:

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Please note, due to the nature of our business, a high degree of flexibility is required — including occasional evenings and weekends.
Your primary work location will be the Enlightened Head Office in Bristol.
Lunch Break: 30 minutes (unpaid)

Overtime:
Overtime is paid in addition to hourly rates inline with the company policy.

Holiday:

The Enlightened holiday year runs from the 1st February to the 31st January each year.

Upon joining the company you will accrue 1/12th of your contracted holiday allowance for each completed month of service.

The standard annual allowance is 28 days inclusive of bank holidays. Part time employees receive this on a pro rata basis.
