Job summary

Central Plastics Inc. seeks a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our operations team in McPherson, KS. The role focuses on receiving shipments, fulfilling orders, maintaining inventory, and operating material-handling equipment safely in a fast-paced environment.

You will inspect deliveries, label and store items, pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, perform cycle counts, update WMS, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace while meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing shipments: Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards.
• Inventory management: Perform cycle counts and inventory audits, update inventory records using WMS.
• Equipment operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment; conduct maintenance checks.
• Facility maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; report issues to supervisors.
• Team collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and participate in process improvements.
