Job summary

Royal Brass and Hose in Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform general warehouse duties, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure safe, on-time handling of freight for our customers.

You will pull orders, ship and receive, inspect quality, dispatch orders, manage inventory, assemble hoses, and kit components as part of a team focused on accuracy and efficiency in a minimal climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certified Forklift Driver a plus.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long periods.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Order puller: pull customer orders and kits; complete discrepancy sheets.
• Shipping: pack boxes, create shipping labels and documents for carriers.
• Receiving: verify shipments; place stock in proper locations; sign for shipments.
• Quality Control: visually inspect orders before shipping.
• Dispatch: provide correct quantities, freight costs, and tracking numbers.
• Inventory/Control/Cycle Counting: count and record stock as a team.
• Hose Assembly: assemble and crimp hoses and fittings.
• Kitting: package components per customer specs.
• Front Counter: assist customers and identify replacements; may fabricate hoses and fittings.
• Year-end inventory: count and record as a team.
