Job summary

A leading electronics recycling company is seeking a Technician: Tester to ensure the proper testing and handling of various electronic devices. Responsibilities include testing servers and laptops, wiping hard drives, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate should have problem-solving skills and be able to maintain safety standards in a warehouse environment. Previous warehouse or IT experience is a plus. Knowledge of PPE requirements and physical capability for lifting is mandatory.

Our local offices are in IL, GA, CO, CA, AZ.

Technician: Tester

• Testing servers (full, medium, and small scale)
• Testing laptops, computers, tablets and other reusable electronics
• Wiping and testing hard drives
• Destruction of data containing devices
• Inventory management
• Order fulfillment
• Management of applicable records

Requirements

• Understand the basics of our QEH&SMS.
• Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Label receptacles for sorted equipment appropriately, if requested.
• Follow all Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
• Ability to read & converse in English.

• Warehouse and IT experience welcome.

Required PPE

Protective Toe Footwear

Provided PPE (As requested or assigned)

Hard Helmet, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Dust Masks &/or breathing apparatus, and Gloves

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 lbs. consistently.
• Team up with partner to lift anything over 40 lbs.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to push/pull, squat, twist and turn without adverse physical injury is mandatory.

Working Conditions

Warehouse environment with some exposure to loud noises, dust, moving equipment, and some heavy machinery.
