Job summary

Jackson’s Food Company is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our Muskego Warehouse team. The role focuses on accurate, timely, and safe movement of product to complete daily picklists and shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy.

We offer a varied schedule across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with a $1.50/hour shift differential and opportunities for advancement within our fast-paced, growing organization.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3 to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stage load per daily shipping and receiving manifests.
  • Complete paperwork for inventory and shipments.
  • Perform daily computer transactions in warehouse systems.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work area; forklift safety inspections.
  • Store products according to SOPs.
  • Move materials throughout the facility.
  • Prepare shipping and receiving documents per SOPs.
  • Fulfill and organize orders for accurate customer delivery.
  • Use stand-up forklift to transport warehouse goods.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary purpose ofthe Warehouse Technicianis to accurately,timely,and safely move product to complete daily picklistsand shipments while ensuring inventory accuracy. This position will upholdJackson’sstandards of continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the major functions of this position and are not intended to be a detailed description of all the work/functions that may be required. Other duties may be assigned. Individual willworka varied schedule based on client needs.

  • Setup and stage load as outlined in daily pick lists per shipping and receiving manifests.

  • Completion of paperwork to ensure inventory and shipment accuracy and timeliness according to daily shipping and receiving plans.

  • Perform all computer transactions daily to ensure proper visibility and accuracy in the warehouse dispatch and inventory systems.

  • Maintain a safe and orderly work area per Jackson’s policyincluding daily forklift and warehouse safety inspections.

  • Store products in a safe, orderly fashion according to standard operating procedures

  • Effectively move material throughout the facility.

  • Prepare shipping and receiving documents in accordance withapplicable SOP's including waste documents, storage, and handling.

  • Fulfill and organizeorders to ensurecustomerdelivery process is efficient and accurate.

  • Utilize stand up forklift to safely transport warehouse goods.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • At least three to Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1 year experience working in the food manufacturing industry is preferred
