Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support the Warehouse Manager in daily activities, including receiving, warehousing, shipping, and delivery of products. The role primarily operates at Beck’s facilities in Salina, KS, with responsibilities spanning unloading, stacking, picking, documentation, and inventory updates.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license (preferred), forklift training, and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record (preferred).
• Fork Lift training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading inbound shipments and stacking product, plus picking and staging outbound shipments.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and ensure proper accounting of products.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and a clean work area.
• Assist with checking in product returns and updating inventory balances on hand.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents.
• Support setup and preparation of warehouse for events.
• Perform other duties as required by Warehouse/Processing Manager.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in all warehouse activities on a daily basis, including the receiving, warehousing, shipping, and delivery of product in a manner consistent with Beck’s service and cost objectives. The role will complete work responsibilities at the Salina, KS location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, along with picking and staging outbound shipments.
• Verify required inbound / outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly accounted for.
• Report and assist in efficient and safe operation of all equipment handling materials.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist with checking in product returns and updating inventory balances on hand.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents.
• Assist in set-up and preparation of warehouse for special events.
• Perform other related duties as may be required by the Processing Manager and/or Warehouse Manager.

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy (preferred).

Technical Knowledge

• CDL or Chauffeur license or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to successfully complete Beck’s Fork Lift training (required).

Travel and Hours of Work

• Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s regional locations and may vary in duration.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination and obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate may be required.

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
