Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids is seeking a Warehouse Support assistant to help the Warehouse Manager with daily activities including receiving, warehousing, shipping, and delivery of products. The role will be based at Beck’s Salina, KS location, supporting operations and ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and forklift training. Candidates should be reliable, safety‑minded, and able to pass pre‑employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist unloading inbound shipments and staging outbound shipments.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers.
• Report and assist in safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area.
• Assist with inventory and returns adjustments.
• Ensure shipping documents are accurate.
• Prepare warehouse for special events.
• Perform duties as required by the Processing Manager and/or Warehouse Manager.

Job description

This position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in all warehouse activities on a daily basis including the receiving, warehousing, shipping and delivery of product in a manner consistent with Beck’s service and cost objectives. This position is authorized to perform the steps necessary to ensure the responsibilities are met. The role will complete work responsibilities at the Salina, KS location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the unloading of the inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, along with picking and staging outbound shipments.
• Verify required inbound / outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are property accounted for.
• Report and assist in efficient and safe operation of all equipment handling materials.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist with checking in product returns and update inventory balances on hand.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents.
• Assist in set-up and preparation of warehouse for special events.
• Perform other related duties as may be required by the Processing Manager and / or Warehouse Manager.

Job Requirements

Education And Training

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• CDL or Chauffer license or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete Beck’s Fork Lift training required.

Travel And Hours Of Work

• Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s regional locations and may vary in duration of time.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination and obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate may be required.

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
