Job Summary
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, shipping and receiving activities, medical imaging equipment handling, depot support activities, and equipment preparation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple operational areas including inventory management, equipment movement, industrial painting preparation, warehouse organization, and technical support activities.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting medical imaging equipment logistics, refurbishment, and operational readiness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, unload, and process incoming shipments and materials
- Prepare outgoing shipments including packaging, labeling, palletizing, and freight coordination
- Sort and organize inventory, materials, and equipment in designated warehouse locations
- Assist Procurement Team with maintain accurate inventory transactions and material tracking within company systems
- Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory organization
- Prepare parcels and shipments for delivery or carrier pickup
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization including sweeping, organizing shelves, pallet areas, and workstations
- Assist with loading and unloading box trucks and trailers
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as authorized
- Deliver and remove equipment and parts from customer or company locations as needed
- Assist with after-hours or weekend deliveries when required
Equipment Preparation & Depot Support
- Prepare medical imaging equipment for refurbishment, transport, installation, or storage
- Paint and refinish medical equipment using ventilated paint booth systems
- Sand, clean, and prepare equipment surfaces for painting or restoration work
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of medical imaging equipment
- Assist with depot repairs and equipment restoration activities
- Support equipment calibration tracking and maintenance activities for testing equipment
- Assist with equipment rigging, movement, installations, and deinstallations as needed
- Remove and transport scrap materials or equipment as directed
General Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work in a timely and accurate manner
- Work independently with minimal supervision while effectively prioritizing workload
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain professional communication with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors
- Support operational and warehouse process improvements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work full-time and flexible hours when operationally required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work safely in warehouse and industrial environments
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Dependable attendance and reliable work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or depot operations experience
- Experience with industrial painting or bodywork preparation
- Technical school or vocational training
- Experience handling medical equipment or technical equipment
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience
- Experience with Paint and refinish work
- Mechanical aptitude or basic repair experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and heavier items with assistance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
- Ability to safely maneuver equipment, carts, and materials
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in warehouse, shop, and industrial environments
- Ability to work around paint systems, equipment movement activities, and loading operations
- Visual and auditory ability sufficient to safely perform assigned duties
