Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Newark, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle shipping, receiving, and local deliveries. You will use Wireless Warehouse to receive and store vendor shipments and to pull orders as assigned.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years of warehousing experience, and basic computer skills. Familiarity with UPS WorldShip or FedEx tracking is a plus. This full-time role includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency required, namely the ability to operate Microsoft Office products.

Essential Physical Functions/Equipment Used:

• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 75lbs.
• Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to, or possess ability to learn how to, operate large warehouse equipment; namely forklifts.

Preferred Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required ; Associates Degree preferred.
• 0-2 year's previous Warehouse experience.
• Basic computer proficiency required, namely the ability to operate Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of UPS WorldShip & FedEx tracking software helpful but not required.

Work Environment :

Standard warehouse environment; including machine shop, equipment operation, shipping & receiving, inventory area.

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is [$20.00 - $23.00]/hr depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
