Job description

TITLE: Warehouse Technician

The Warehouse Technician's main duties include receiving inbound shipments, documenting their condition, locating and documenting the location of items, and preparing items for load out at the warehouse. This role collaborates with cross-functional leaders and employees to share knowledge and improve outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

PROBLEM-SOLVING:

PERFORMANCE:

  • Provide project and customer-appropriate solutions that help us win and retain customers.
  • Receive, store, pull, and stage furniture in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage inventory accuracy for sold orders and asset management customers.
  • Manage the merchandise return policy to ensure the warehouse is organized, products are documented, and disposition plans are carried out.
  • Ensure response times and the quality of internal and external communications and deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Create and provide visual tools to manage workload and share progress towards goals (KPIs).
