Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Canton, OH is hiring a Warehouse Technician, Grade 005 to support the KPP department. The role involves selecting jobs for KPP, receiving parts, and maintaining safety and quality standards while meeting production targets.

You will operate stand-up reach lifts, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment, lift up to 75 pounds, work onsite, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Pick jobs for KPP.
• Operate and assist in receiving of parts, ensuring quality and production standards.
• Safely lift and move parts up to 75 pounds unassisted; pull/push and slide parts up to 100 pounds unassisted.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching into 48-inch deep locations to pull or stock parts.
• Stand and/or walk 100% of the work schedule with breaks and lunch times considered.
• Safely operate around equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, propane lifts, battery changing equipment, conveyors, and other machinery.
• Operate stand-up reach lifts (4,000 lb capacity) and man-up order picker (3,000 lb capacity) to heights up to 22 ft.
• Maintain housekeeping requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Work flexible hours.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement program (TOS) by contributing ideas for improvement.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:30am-4pm and Monday - Thursday 4:30pm-3am shifts available
